The most famous horse race is now just a few months away as interest continues to build ahead of the event. The Grand National has a long and esteemed history and is renowned as ‘the ultimate test of horse and rider’. With viewing of the event now estimated at around 500-600 million in over 140 countries it further backs up the popularity of the event.

One of the greatest recent winners has to be Many Clouds. The Oliver Sherwood trained runner went into the 2015 running of the race as a 25/1 outsider following a poor display in the Gold cup at Cheltenham. However he defied the odds to gain a comprehensive victory in the colours of Trevor Hemmings and cement himself as one of the best staying chasers in the modern era. Betfair Grand National has Blaklion has the current 12/1 favourite as he looks to improve upon his 4th place finish in the 2017 running of the race.
