The 18-year-old Canadian has lost just three of her 24 matches in 2019.
Canadian wild card Bianca Andreescu continued her outstanding form to reach the semi-finals of the BNP Paribas Open with a straight-sets victory over Garbine Muguruza.
The 18-year-old advanced with a dominant 6-0 6-1 win over the 20th seed in Indian Wells.
Andreescu needed just 23 minutes to wrap up the first set and maintained the momentum in the second set, taking a break in the second game after Muguruza had built a 40-0 lead.
After a loss of nine straight games, two-time grand slam champion Muguruza won her only game of the match at 3-1.
But Andreescu had already done the damage and after another break to grab a 5-1 lead, the world number 60 closed the match on her first match point after just 52 minutes.
Andreescu, who has won 21 matches and lost just three in 2019, will now face sixth seed Elina Svitolina after she defeated Marketa Vondrousova.
Svitolina rallied from a set down and fought off the Czech 19-year-old to prevail 4-6 6-4 6-4 in two hours and 13 minutes.
