Patrice Evra insists France will not underestimate Portugal in Sunday's Euro 2016 final.
The host nation booked their place in the tournament showpiece with a 2-0 success over Germany on Thursday.
Antoine Griezmann struck twice for Les Bleus to set up the meeting with Portugal, who earned their spot in the final by seeing off Wales.
Evra expects a stern test from the Portuguese and believes they have been unfairly written off by some over the course of Euro 2016.
Portugal finished third in their group, behind Hungary and Iceland, needed extra-time to get past Croatia and were taken to a penalty shoot-out by Poland, but Evra says there will be "no gifts" for France in the final.
"It's a big match. Portugal is a very good team, one that was very much criticised," Evra told beIN Sports. "People said they hadn't won a game in 90 minutes. Everyone said Croatia was going to make it and if Portugal is there it's not for nothing, they deserve to be there.
"A final is a final, I'm going to play against some old teammates there. It's a big moment, but there are no gifts here."
France are 4/9 to win Euro 2016 outright and Portugal can be backed at 15/8.
