Borussia Dortmund given Odd Europa League tie

Borussia Dortmund have been handed a tie with Odd in their Europa League playoff, while Southampton are set to face Midtjylland.

Thomas Tuchel's men have been forced to compete in one qualifying tie to reach Europe's secondary club competition following their seventh-placed finish in the Bundesliga last term.

And Tuchel's men must now overcome the Norwegian club if they are to reach the group stage of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Premier League side Southampton will face Danish champions Midtjylland, Ajax, who were eliminated from the Champions League qualifiers, will take on Czech side Jablonec and Athletic Bilbao have been drawn against Slovakian club Zilina.

After losing to Shakhtar Donetsk in their Champions League qualifier on Wednesday, Fenerbahce will have to beat Atromitos to progress in the Europa League.

All first leg games will be played on the August 20, with the return matches taking place the following Thursday.
